About us

The founders Jannis Froese and Nils Vossebein both studied at the renowned University of Saarland and combine the knowledge of IT security from science and practice. While Jannis Froese focused in the area of machine learning, Nils Vossebein's specialty is data acquisition, processing and storage. Together, they have already been responsible for the technical implementation of a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supervised by the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. Thus, they were able to gain many years of practical experience.

Our vision

Everyone knows the annoying 2-factor authentication - as it is common for online banking, for example. And almost nobody really uses passwords securely. This led us to consider: How can we make user verification as secure and convenient as possible? And preferably in such a way that the user is not aware of it at all. These questions were the basis for the development of behavior-based security software.

Our technology

InvisID uses mouse and keyboard usage habits as an invisible authentication method. Users verify themselves only by their input type, which is continuously matched in the background. The idea behind this is that computers recognize their users by how they handle the keyboard and how they move the mouse. In this way, unauthorized access can be detected and blocked in good time. As a result, passwords that are stolen or PCs that are left unattended no longer pose a threat to IT security.
